Overview
To close the SCDM 2024 EMEA Conference, Richard Young will invite fellow industry leaders representing different aspects of clinical research to take the stage and share their perspectives on transforming clinical research. Magda Jaśkowska (Patient focus), Agnieszka Gackowska (Site focus), Ward Lemaire (Data Management focus) and Jonathan Andrus (Regulatory focus) will each answer two questions:

If you had a magic wand, and you could use that magic wand to change clinical research forever, what two things that you can't do today would you magically address?
And then, what two things would you cast away into room 101, never to be seen again?
You too will have the chance to engage and share your insights and answers to these questions via the conference app.

Tanya is currently Chief Data Strategist & Solutions Officer of Bioforum, she has over 20 years industry experience. Throughout her career, Tanya has worked with multinational pharmaceutical companies as well as small-to-mid size biotechs and startups. She has led various data management operations and programs, heading numerous innovation teams and spearheading the development of strategies for customized data delivery solutions, focusing on timely, quality data.
Richard Young

A veteran of almost 30-years in life sciences, Richard is Vice President, Strategy, Clinical Data. Richard is responsible for defining strategy and direction for Veeva's Clinical Data applications, especially with respect to site and patient generated data. Richard brings Veeva customers both keen executive vision and proven operational experience in data management, eClinical Solutions, and advanced clinical strategies (e.g. adaptive trials, risk based monitoring, strategic technology reviews).

Richard’s extensive background in clinical data management, operational excellence, strategic planning, marketing, and business development enable him to provide fresh insights to clinical strategies.
Jonathan Andrus

Jonathan leads CRIO’s customer experience, engineering, product management, quality management and sales and marketing teams. With over 27 years of experience in operations, data management, quality and commercial operations, Jonathan brings a wealth of real-world experience. An active thought leader, blogger and presenter, Jonathan serves on the board and executive committee of the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) and has been on the advisory boards of CDISC and DIA. Jonathan is co-lead with the Decentralized Trials and Research Alliance (DTRA) workstream initiative and a co-author on upcoming eCOA Consortium publications.

Patrick Nadolny has over 30 years of industry experience across pharmaceutical, device and biologics as well as technology development. He is a pragmatic leader focusing on technology, innovation, strategic planning, change management, and the setup of new capabilities. In addition to his SCDM Chair role, he leads the SCDM innovation committee, which recently released 3 reflection papers on the evolution of Clinical Data Management toward Clinical Data Science.
Magda Jaśkowska
Global Director/Leader of TA for Oncology in Data Strategy and Management

Mrs. Jaskowska for over 10 years has been engaged with data management in clinical trials (R&D), working both for CRO and the largest pharmaceutical companies. She currently holds the position of Global Director/Leader of TA for Oncology in Data Strategy and Management department at GSK. She has extensive experience in managing portfolios of research projects at both the global operations and business level, such as change management and implementing innovative solutions and processes in departments and managing an international team. In her current position, she manages a team of nearly 50 managers and leaders at various levels, operating in the field of oncology.

Hi - I'm Tim. I've over 26 years’ experience working in the Life Sciences Industry from a Pharmaceutical company, CRO and technology vendor perspective.

My background is predominantly in Patient Engagement and eCOA. I'm currently Vice President of Strategy at Veeva Systems and my main focus is on the strategic development of MyVeeva for Patients, a patient facing application suite.
