Not All Superheroes Wear Capes! How Clinical Data Management Teams Can Tackle the 5Vs and Come Out on Top
Session Overview: See how the data acquisition technology landscape is evolving and discuss the challenges/opportunities that arise. Learn how advances in automation, AI, and analytics can help Clinical Data Management teams stay on top of the 5Vs (Volume, Variety, Velocity, Veracity, and Value) of data, and evolve from Clinical Data Management to Clinical Data Science.
Overview
The role of the clinical data manager in ensuring data integrity and quality has never been more critical as higher volumes and velocity of digital data enter the trial from multiple sources. But no matter how skilled you are, data managers are not superhuman, and there isn’t a limitless supply of highly-skilled data managers and data scientists. Traditional manual, retrospective, and exhaustive data management approaches can struggle to scale to meet the demands of today’s and tomorrow’s trials. Help is at hand though, through targeted, risk-based approaches and automated, intelligent workflows and analytics.

In this interactive webinar, we’ll discuss the challenges faced by clinical data management as they tackle the 5Vs (Volume, Variety, Velocity, Veracity, and Value) of data and how processes, technologies, and skillsets are evolving to empower your individuals and teams to shift focus and effort from reactive data cleaning to proactive and strategic delivery of actionable data insights.

What You'll Learn
  • Understand the evolving clinical trial data acquisition landscape
  • Discuss the challenges with traditional clinical data management (CDM) processes
  • Learn how automation, AI-assisted workflows, and analytics can elevate the role of CDM

Clinical Data Management leaders and Clinical Data Managers will benefit from attending this webinar through the opportunity to hear from and discuss with experienced technology leaders how advances in automation, artificial intelligence, and analytics will enable the evolution from Clinical Data Management to Clinical Data Science.
