ONLINE WEBINAR · March 4, 2021, 8:00 PST | 11:00 EST | 17:00 CET | 20:30 IST
Demystifying Decentralized Trials - Best Practices, Pitfalls and What Data Managers Need to Know
Session Overview: The webinar will cover what the collection of technologies and designs that make up decentralized trials are, and, how these impact the patient, site and data management experiences.
Overview
The global pandemic has accelerated the adoption of decentralized trial models in clinical research enabling a greater percentage of trials to be conducted remotely. Most of the trials starting in 2021 will incorporate a virtualized trial element. The goal of this webinar and panel discussion is to share examples of decentralized trial models including types of DCT, best practices on designs and implementation and what data managers need to know.

The webinar will cover what the collection of technologies and designs that make up decentralized trials are, and, how these impact the patient, site and data management experiences. Case studies of decentralized trials will be discussed along with considerations for data management, analytics and statistical analysis. The webinar will share examples and insights from an expert panel that have extensive experience working with decentralized trials across phases and therapeutic areas.

The benefits of participation include:
Learning more about how to design and run decentralized trials
Hearing advice, pest practices and things to avoid when developing DCT designs
Asking questions and hearing the advice of industry leaders involved in running DCTs
What You'll Learn
  • What are the collection of technologies and designs that constitute decentralized trials?
  • What are some best practices for DCTs regarding trial designs that optimize patient and site experience and ease of use.
  • What do data managers need to know about decentralized trials both to optimize setup and for data review and analysis.
  • What analytics are most useful in running DCTs and delivering clean data to stakeholders.
Who Should Attend
This webinar is designed for data managers, programmers and data strategists of all levels.
